This site was set up in mid-March 2102, and the ten earliest entries appeared on my personal blog.

You can read the text of any book directly online from the Gutenberg site from the link provided at the end of each posting. You don't need to download an eReader if it's just the text that interests you.

If a particular entry appeals to you, download a copy of either of the free eReading programs:

* Kindle for Mac or PC (especially if you have a portable Kindle Reader, but you don't have to have one!), or

* Calibre.

Reading via these allows you to view text at a size you prefer and gives full access to full colour illustrations.
